For mouth to lung vapers, for new vapers – a resounding YES. Salts really closely emulate the use of tobacco in terms of nicotine hit. It is not meant to chain vape – like a cigarette, you inhale, get your nic fix and you’re done. Also ideal when stealth vaping or carrying discrete closed system devices for ultimate portability.…
Nic salt e-liquid is different from your regular eliquids ( that are often referred to as “free-base” nicotine). It is claimed the nic salt is the natural state of nicotine in a tobacco leaf, and that nic salt delivery would offer satisfaction, similar to that of an actual cigarette.
Without going all “science” on you – nicotine absorption rate into the body – closely matches that of smoking traditional cigarettes with nic salts, and at the same times, it seems less potent than freebase nicotine at the same concentration – that’s why it comes in much higher mg strengths.
For someone just quitting – it really mimics the nic hit of smoking. You generally won’t or can’t chain vape it as the hit is stronger. Like a cigarette – you’ll take your puffs and feel satisfied. Batteries and coil life will be extended as well.
Nic salts were really popularized by the Juul device. As mentioned above, it’s made for high ohm, low wattage devices. Any of the new closed system devices that are refillable would suit you – that would include: iCare, Bo, Juul, Von Erl, MyJet, PHIX, Fitt, Pulse, etc, etc…. If you want the hit, but aren’t worried about carrying a “stealth” device, I really recommend the Nautilus 2 with the 1.8 ohm coil – used on your favourite device.
Salt Nix:
The ratio for the Salt Nix line is 50/50. This will ensure excellent wicking in closed system devices. Higher ohm, low wattage will also mean you will go through considerably less than regular e-liquid on a low ohm build. Available in a bottle, not prefilled pods – you’ll be able to use it in whatever device you can fill.
