The Nitecore Intellicharger NEW i4, is an upgraded version of the original i4 with an increased 1.5A charging speed and wider cell compatibility. The Nitecore i4 is a four bay universal smart charger that is compatible with almost all batteries available on the market. The NEW i4 is able to automatically identify Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries and apply the appropriate type of charging (Constant Charge Current (CC), Constant Charge Voltage (CV) and Trickle Charge). With it's two micro computer controlled charging slots, the new i4 monitors and charges each battery independently. You can charge batteries independently and the i4 will identify and apply the appropriate charging mode for that battery. The status indicator lights also make it very clear what stage of charging your battery is at while protecting your battery from overcharging.
